Location: METROHEALTH MEDICAL CENTER

Biweekly Hours: 80.00

Shift: 7:00a-3:30p Rotating weekends and holidays

Job Summary

Supervises the efficient operation of assigned areas, overseeing Environmental Services staff to ensure proper environmental sanitation. Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.

Qualifications

Required:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Two years of hospital-based housekeeping experience or two years as a supervisor in any field
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, organizational, and leadership skills
• Ability to interact effectively with diverse backgrounds

Preferred:

• Associate’s Degree in Business or related field
• Experience supervising hospital housekeeping or hotel staff
• Experience operating floor care equipment

Physical Requirements

May include sitting, standing, bending, ambulating, lifting up to 25 pounds, and exposure to chemicals. Must have good vision and hearing, finger dexterity, and communication skills.
