Job Description
The Supervisor, Enterprise Account Management is responsible for identifying the logistics needs of high-potential accounts, developing agreed upon procedures to meet customer needs, and ensuring processes are in place to execute. This position demonstrates superior analytical and interpersonal skills while working directly with the company's largest customers to increase ArcBest's footprint in the shipping industry and provide an industry-leading customer experience. The Supervisor, Enterprise Account Management also collaborates with Account Managers to design unique solutions to meet customers' logistics needs through the development of standard operating procedures (SOPs) which involves working with the customer to identify expectations, developing a plan of action, implementing the processes, and communicating our progress through customer specific dashboards.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit and interview potential employees and make hiring recommendations.
  • Monitor compliance of standard operating procedures and correct potential non-conformance for assigned accounts.
  • Provide market-competitive pricing decisions for ArcBest customers while maintaining profitability and market share.
  • Conduct weekly, quarterly and yearly business reviews to create and maintain customer confidence.
  • Lead workflow distribution to ensure service levels are consistently met.
  • Work in a team setting to accomplish department goals.
  • Perform quality checks, develop and review performance reports, and identify areas to improve.
  • Build and develop relationships and directly communicate with customers to identify requirements and instill confidence in ArcBest's ability to meet agreed upon requirements.
  • Administer performance management by providing effective feedback, coaching, training, professional development, and taking corrective action, as necessary.
  • Provide weekend and after-hours coverage, as required.
  • Design and implement customized solutions to meet the ever-changing requirements for high-output and high-potential customers.
  • Develop and implement process improvements and effectively manage changes to ensure departmental objectives are achieved.
  • Provide industry leading customer solutions to ArcBest customers.
  • Maintain a positive attitude in a highly intense environment.
  • Resolve customers' complex concerns and disputes.
  • Other duties and projects, as assigned.

Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree, preferred

Experience:

  • 5 years experience with Customer Solutions
  • 2 years prior leadership/supervisory experience
  • Knowledge of Customer Solutions Operations

Computer Skills:

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, required

Other Details

Work Hours:

  • Work schedule varies between 7:00 am - 7:00 pm, Monday - Friday with irregular and weekend hours depending on workload.

Compensation:

  • This is a salary position paid biweekly.
