Immediate Career Opportunity: Duty Billing Supervisor

The Supervisor verifies tariffs, price conversions, weight, and volume of exported/imported merchandise. They examine documents like invoices, bills of lading, and shipping statements, ensuring compliance with regulations. The supervisor may contact customs officials to facilitate freight release and resolve delays.

Multiple Shift Opportunities:

• Tuesday - Saturday: 12:00 pm to 8:30 pm
• Sunday - Thursday: 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm
• Monday - Friday: 9:00 pm to 5:30 am

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage customs clearance activities efficiently and cost-effectively.
2. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
3. Establish and monitor policies and procedures for customs operations.
4. Meet key performance indicators for the product.
5. Supervise approximately 30 staff, including hiring, coaching, and development.
6. Assign work, review performance, and manage staff in accordance with policies.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of principles and concepts in the relevant function.
• Practical application of work principles to solve problems.
• Knowledge of quality, productivity, training, budgeting, and cost control practices.
• Basic supervisory skills for work direction and motivation.
• Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years' related experience, including supervisory experience.
• Professional certification may be required in some areas.
