Universal Background Screening is seeking a Supervisor DTOH to lead a team of DTOH Specialists and drive coaching, onboarding, and performance outcomes. The role emphasizes leadership, escalation handling, and collaboration with management to ensure accurate search processes within the DTOH function.

Ideal candidates will have a proven leadership track record in operations or customer service, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and web applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide coaching and motivate DTOH Specialists to meet performance goals.

• Work with Management to ensure proper handling of all search types and DTOH functions.
• Receive and disposition escalations as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Universal Background Screening is a leading nationwide provider of background screening and drug testing services to business clients. We are ranked as one of the top companies in our field, and our Drug Testing/Occupational Health group strives to provide service excellence to our clients. To support our continued growth, we are seeking a Supervisor DTOH to join our growing team.

The Supervisor DTOH will act as a primary resource to a team of DTOH Specialists.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Providecoaching and motivateDTOHSpecialists to ensure performance goals are met.
• Responsiblefornew-hire onboarding and ongoing development of knowledge and skillset ofDTOHSpecialists.
• Handle Team Lead duties and daily miscellaneousDTOHtasks.

Required Skills

• Excellent computer skills andproficiencyin: MicrosoftOutlook/Word/Excel,GoogleChrome, InternetExplorer,and other web applications.
• Previous experience in background screening or FCRA requirements are a plus.

This position is full-time and onsite Monday through Friday.

Position Requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Demonstrated ability to solve problems within the bounds of department policies and procedures.

• Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role within operations, customer service, or a related department.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) and web-based applications; experience using browsers such as Google Chrome and Internet Explorer.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong track record of effectively managing escalations and implementing resolution strategies in accordance with company policies.
• Ability to interpret and act on complex information in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on clarity, empathy, and professionalism.
• Demonstrates emotional intelligence and composure in high-pressure situations involving internal and external stakeholders.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while also excelling in a team-oriented setting.
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities with precision.

• Previous experience in the background screening industry and familiarity with Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) regulations is strongly preferred.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be proficient in the English language, both written and verbal.
• Must be available for an in-person interview.
• Ability to lift 15 pounds.
