Job summary

Generac Power Systems Inc. is seeking a Second Shift Supervisor to lead distribution operations on the evening shift in Minnesota. This role is 80% people leadership and 20% hands-on support, focusing on safe, accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory control while guiding the team to meet performance targets.

You will oversee outbound/inbound activities, monitor KPIs, and drive ongoing improvements in safety, quality, productivity, and service, with occasional travel as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 5 years in a high-volume distribution environment.
• Experience leading teams and directing work.
• Experience monitoring operational KPIs and corrective actions.
• Proficiency with WMS or related operational technology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead second-shift distribution operations including shipping and receiving.
• Supervise and develop team members; set priorities and drive productivity.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and transactions.
• Promote a safe, organized work environment and ensure policy compliance.
• Monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement for safety, quality, productivity, and service.
