Job summary

Providence Mission Viejo is seeking a Supervisor of Diagnostic Imaging to lead the radiology team on the day shift. The role includes coordinating workflow, supervising staff, and performing a variety of radiologic procedures to deliver high-quality patient care across all ages.

The position requires California radiologic certifications, 3–5 years as a staff technologist, and preferred supervisory experience. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity at Mission Hospital Mission Viejo.

Qualifications

• California Diagnostic Radiologic Technology Certification required at hire.
• California Fluoroscopy Certificate/Permit required at hire.
• National Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer or ARRT/ABR certifications required at hire.

Description

Supervisor Diagnostic Imaging at Mission Hospital Mission Viejo. This position is Full time and will work 8-hour Day Shifts.

Under minimal supervision, oversees department personnel and coordinates workflow per assigned shift to ensure radiology functions efficiently to provide quality patient care. Performs variety of radiologic procedures, providing assessment and care for infants, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.

Required Qualifications:

• Upon hire: California Diagnostic Radiologic Technology Certification, or
• Upon hire: California Fluoroscopy Certificate/Permit, or
• Upon hire: California Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification, or
• Upon hire: California Diagnostic and Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification, or
• Upon hire: National Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, or
• Upon hire: National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, or
• Upon hire: National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography, or
• Upon hire: National Certified MRI Technologist - American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists, or
• Upon hire: National Certification from Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board, or
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• 3-5 years experience as staff technologist.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Management, or 10 years as a staff technologist.
• Supervisory experience.
