Job summary

Providence St. Jude Medical Center in Fullerton, CA is seeking a Radiology Assistant - MRI to support imaging procedures in a patient-centered, efficient manner. This part-time role includes shift variability and may involve up to 80 hours per two-week period.

The ideal candidate will have BLS, venipuncture certification, and at least 1 year in an outpatient or hospital radiology setting. Coursework in Medical Terminology is preferred, with a focus on high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• National Provider BLS is required at hire.
• Coursework/training in Medical Terminology is preferred.

• One year of outpatient or hospital x-ray experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient services for Imaging procedures and check-in.
• Assist patients through Imaging procedures in a compassionate, efficient manner.
• Perform procedures including contrast administration and venipuncture as directed.
• Support the Imaging department with regulatory standards and workflow.

Radiology Assistant - Magnetic Resonance Imaging at Providence St. Jude Medical Center, Fullerton, CA. This position is Part Time and will work <80>-hour, Variable shifts.

Provide ongoing patient services for the Imaging departments by checking in patients for their Imaging procedures. Assist all patients through their Imaging procedure in a compassionate and time efficient manner. Perform a variety of procedures which include Contrast administration, Venipuncture as determined by departmental leadership in accordance with department, hospital, and regulatory agency standards.
