Job summary

Providence Mission Hospital Mission Viejo seeks a senior Imaging Services leader to oversee all technical and clerical staff. This role ensures QA, state compliance and safe patient care across imaging operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required or to be obtained within 2 years of hire.
• Graduate from AMA approved Radiologic Technology or Allied Health program.
• National Certifications: MRI Technologist, Nuclear Medicine, Diagnostic Medical Sonography, or Radiologic Technologies.
• Current BLS certification.
• California radiologic credentials as applicable.
• National Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer credential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all technical and clerical staff in Imaging Services.
• Ensure compliance with Quality, JCAHO and State requirements.
• Manage workflow and contribute to safe, effective patient care.
• Provide leadership and development for imaging team.

Under the general direction of the Director, Imaging Svcs oversees all technical and clerical staff in the Imaging Services department. Oversees technical procedures, Quality, JCAHO and State requirements. Ensures the workflow of safe and effective patient care. Is directly responsible for the management of all services related to assigned operations.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree for existing caregivers must obtain within 2 years of hire date.
• Coursework/Training: Graduate of an AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology or Allied Health Profession.
• Upon hire: National Certified MRI Technologist - American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists or
• Upon hire: National Certification from Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board or
• Upon hire: National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography or
• Upon hire: National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• Upon hire: California Diagnostic Radiologic Technology Certification or
• Upon hire: California Fluoroscopy Certificate/Permit or
• Upon hire: California Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification or
• Upon hire: California Diagnostic and Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification or
• Upon hire: National Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer.
• 2-5 years of experience in a healthcare environment with 4 years Management experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 years' experience managing Imaging Services clerical support.
