Job Summary

Now Hiring: Supervisor of Cultural Ambassadors

Location: Forsyth Medical Center

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Novant Health is seeking a dedicated and experienced Supervisor of Cultural Ambassadors with Spanish interpreter experience to lead and inspire our Cultural Ambassador team. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver a remarkable patient experience—every dimension, every time—while supporting our health system’s vision and commitment to patients and families.

In this supervisory role, you will guide and support the Cultural Ambassador team, ensuring they provide exceptional service that fosters inclusion, understanding, and compassion for our diverse patient population. You will play a key role in creating an environment where differences are embraced and where empowerment, inspiration, and courage thrive.

You will also utilize Novant Health’s First Do No Harm (NHFDNH) safety behaviors, error prevention tools, and high reliability strategies to maintain a safe, remarkable patient experience throughout your team’s daily operations.

Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED, required. 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum two years experience in interpreting services, required. Minimum two years previous Supervisor experience, preferred.
  • Licensure/Certification: CMI or CHI certification within the first year of employment, required.
  • Additional Skills: Ability to complete validation and competency testing, certification from a recognized Medical Interpreting training program, and ability to drive/travel to multiple locations as needed.
