Job summary

Ultipro is seeking a Construction Services Supervisor to lead safety-focused day-to-day work, supervise crews, and manage medium-scale capital projects and MAOP initiatives. Responsibilities include coordinating with project engineers, onboarding contract managers, and ensuring compliance with plans and company procedures.

The role requires two years of gas pipeline construction/maintenance experience, supervisory or PM exposure, and travel up to 25%.

Job description

Responsible for placing safety as #1 priority in day-to-day work routine for self and others. Provides leadership and supervision to utility and/or contractor construction crews. Responsible for construction management and supervision of medium and intermediate complexity capital projects and MAOP projects. Assists with administration and training of welding and fusion programs as well as tapping and stopping using Mueller and Kleiss equipment. Assists with scheduling and daily operations at fabrication shops.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Must possess a working knowledge of gas utility operations at a level normally acquired through an associate degree in engineering, construction, business or a related field; and
• Two years' experience in the construction and maintenance of gas pipeline facilities; prior supervisory and project management experience.
• Must possess a working knowledge of gas utility operations at a level normally acquired through a bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction, Business or related field; and
• Two years of experience in the construction and maintenance of gas pipeline facilities; of which
• Two years are in the Construction Services Supervisor role or three years in a supervisory role, providing leadership and project management.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

• Must take all measures necessary to protect networks, devices, programs and data from cyber-attack, damage or unauthorized access.
• Required to maintain a valid driver's license.
• Requires travel: Moderate (up to 25%).
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States, no sponsorships considered.
• Subject to pre-employment drug testing and background checks.
