  • Coordinate work within the center and with other supervisors to ensure task completion.
  • Set priorities for the team to meet short-term objectives and improve workflows.
  • Identify and resolve operational problems using defined processes and judgment.
  • Participate in staff selection and ensure equitable staff assignments.
  • Oversee staffing and utilization of clinical personnel to meet patient needs.

Responsibilities

The main functions of the Clinic Site Supervisor are that of leadership and promotion of cooperative staff effort for patients to experience a quality care environment.

  • Coordinates, supervises and is accountable for the daily activities of business support, technical or production team or unit
  • Impact of work is most often at the team level
  • Owns output at task level
  • Work is generally limited to own function
  • Sets priorities for the team to ensure task completion
  • Coordinates work activities with other supervisors
  • Develops plans to meet short-term objectives
  • Identifies and resolves operational problems using defined processes, expertise and judgment
  • Decisions are guided by policies, procedures and business plan
  • Product, service or process decisions are most likely to impact individual employees and/or customers (internal or external)
  • Staffing and Utilization of Clinical Personnel
    • Assigns clinical staff personnel based on levels of competency and the needs of the center.
    • Assures equitable staff assignments.
    • Participates in selection of clinical personnel.
Qualifications
  • High School Degree
  • Bachelor’s Degree from four-year college or university preferred.
  • Two years of related experience in a healthcare organization and/or medical supervisory experience.
