Job summary

Children's Hospital & Medical Center - Omaha is seeking a Supervisor Clinical Nursing for the Inpatient Nursing Float Pool. The role is full-time, nights, with a schedule from 7:00pm to 7:30am and a 36-hour work week, located in Omaha, NE and other designated site.

The incumbent will lead bedside care, coordinate operations, and mentor staff while ensuring regulatory compliance. Requires BSN, pediatric experience, and supervisory coursework preferred.

Qualifications

Float Inpatient Clinical Supervisor - Lead with Care, Serve with Compassion

Education Qualifications

Experience Qualifications

Skills and Abilities

  • Must be able to perform a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another of a different nature, without loss of efficiency or composure, and be able to perform under stressful conditions when confronted with multiple requests, demonstrating prioritizing skills.

Licenses and Certifications

  • RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure Current and valid Nebraska RN license/RN Compact license Upon Hire Required and
  • BLS - Basic Life Support Current and valid Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association Upon Hire Required and
  • PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support Current and valid certification in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 180 Days Required and
  • ACLS Current and valid Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required (ED and CCU only) within 180 Days Required and
  • NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Current and valid certification in Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP) required (NICU only). Upon Hire Required
