Qualifications

• At least twenty-one (21) years of age.
• Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Education, Rehabilitation, Social Work, or related field; OR equivalent years of work experience; OR combination of education and experience with major course work and experience in Counseling, Psychology, Social Sciences, or related field.
• Three (3) years of experience working in a therapeutic residential, addictions, and/or behavioral health outpatient setting; OR demonstrated proficiency as a Clinical Associate II at SCF.
• Must meet conditions to qualify as an approved SCF driver including: valid Alaska driver’s license, Alaska CDL within 30 days if applicable, driver’s record limits, age requirements.
• Two (2) years of demonstrated experience at the Supervisor of Clinical Associate I level; OR equivalent supervisory experience in a behavioral health setting.
• Alaska Native/American Indian Preference in Employment.
• Employee Health requirements including immunizations prior to first day of employment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, evaluate, and develop Clinical Associates, Mental Health Workers, and/or other staff as assigned.
• Coordinate work toward program goals and objectives within an integrated care team.
• Provide Clinical Associate services within the program when needed.
• Progress through two levels based on demonstrated ability to handle more responsibility.
