Job summary

Providence Medical Institute is seeking an RN Clinic Supervisor to oversee direct patient care in the clinic and manage patient flow. You will mentor clinical caregivers and collaborate with the Director and Practice Manager to promote quality care in a mission-driven environment.

Bring CA RN licensure, BLS certification within 30 days, and 3+ years of nursing experience. Ambulatory clinic leadership and EMR experience are preferred. Join a team dedicated to compassionate, patient-centered care.

Job description

The RN Clinic Supervisor is a Registered Nurse responsible for overseeing direct patient care in the clinic(s) as well as facilitating patient care flow. Works in close collaboration with Director and Practice Manager to ensure competency of clinical and non-clinical caregivers. Mentors and develops clinical caregivers. Ensures all assigned duties are performed in a manner that promotes team concept to reflect the Providence Health & Services mission and philosophy. The RN Clinic Supervisor will assist with maintaining compliance to professional nursing standards as well as regulatory requirements, and will support providers and caregivers in delivering quality health care to patients taking into account the patients' individual physical and/or age-related needs.

Required qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited school of registered nursing.
• California Registered Nurse License upon hire

Preferred qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
• 2 years of Progressive leadership role in an ambulatory clinic setting or acute care setting.
• ER or Urgent Care experience.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records, Windows, and Excel-based software.
