Job Summary

Responsible for planning, assigning, coordinating, and controlling nursing care within scope of licensure and services for patients. Act as a clinic leader to ensure the mission and goals of the organization are met.

Essential Duties

• Coordinate with the Clinic Manager, Medical Director, and other staff to set appropriate goals for the clinic. Communicate clinic goals to employees and ensure they have the tools to achieve them.
• Ensure nursing operations are efficient and meet quality standards, including compliance with regulations and confidentiality. Evaluate patient care needs and suggest solutions to care issues.
• Obtain and record vital signs and other relevant patient information. Ensure patient privacy and comfort, and instruct on sample collection and tests.
• Administer medications, start IV lines, and assist with diagnostic procedures as trained. Document all interactions accurately.
• Supervise employee management including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance appraisals. Coordinate nursing activities with practitioners.
• Manage departmental supplies, records, reports, and staff expenses. Prepare and monitor budgets with input from staff.
• Participate in meetings, professional development, and maintain affiliations. Attend conferences. Membership on the Disaster Recovery Team is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program approved by the WA State Board of Nursing.
• BSN preferred.
• Previous supervisory or lead experience preferred.
• At least 3 years of nursing experience in a clinic setting or 5 years in acute hospital nursing preferred within the last five years.

• Current WA State RN license required.
• CPR certification required within 30 days of hire.

Pay Range

$42.69 - $61.91/hour
