The shift supervisor assists the store manager in maintaining a positive environment, providing fast, efficient, and friendly service to ensure a TOTAL QUALITY EXPERIENCE for customers and team members. Responsibilities include training, customer service, product knowledge, safety practices, and acting as manager on duty in the absence of the store and/or assistant manager.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked environment; assist in distributing product shipments when necessary.
- Perform all POS duties, front and back of house functions, including opening and closing procedures, coordinating with the Corporate Office as needed.
- Establish effective communication among team members.
- Assist in maintaining proper coverage and schedules, ensuring customer service standards and adherence to meal and break policies.
- Uphold cash handling procedures; be accountable for store funds during shifts.
- Assist in planning and executing sales promotions efficiently.
- Provide guidance and set an example for team members, ensuring SOPs are followed.
- Enforce store policies, merchandising, and cleanliness standards.
- Promote safe work habits; report safety hazards, incidents, and conduct initial investigations.
- Model outstanding service; proactively solve customer problems and develop rapport with customers.
- Monitor, coach, and encourage team members to meet service standards.
- Follow recipes and procedures, maintaining product quality and standards.
- Educate team members on products and services; taste products for quality assurance.
- Provide coaching and training on performance expectations.
Requirements & Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum one year of hospitality experience or six months supervisory experience; preferred prior supervisory experience.
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check.
- Effective communication in English.
- Availability for overtime, including weekends, evenings, and special events.
- Applicable licenses (e.g., food handlers) as required by law.
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- Computer skills (MS Word, Excel).
- Valid driver's license.
- Polite, neat appearance.
- Ability to motivate team, work standing long periods, bend, kneel, and lift 25+ pounds.
