Overview
The Supervisor, Care Center will oversee and operate all systems of the Center for Autism Services, Science and Innovation (CASSI) Care Center efficiently. The role involves supervising Care Center Specialists daily and interacting professionally with patients, families, clinicians, and staff, emphasizing high standards of customer service and accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all functions of the Care Center, including patient scheduling, registration, and provider schedule maintenance.
- Develop and maintain a quality improvement program to monitor staff compliance, data quality, and operational effectiveness.
- Manage provider templates and monitor open slots.
- Implement and perform all phases of the Performance Management cycle, including training and staff development.
- Participate in hiring processes by interviewing, checking references, and onboarding new staff, in collaboration with the Assistant Manager and Manager.
- Hold regular meetings with staff and clinical teams to address issues related to the Care Center.
- Provide weekly updates on scheduling, unfilled slots, waiting lists, and pre-authorization issues to management.
- Coordinate with clinicians and management to ensure proper scheduling and service delivery, maintaining provider schedules.
- Monitor EPIC work queues for accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain understanding of insurance requirements and assess system information related to insurance and authorizations.
- Analyze registration and scheduling needs, and allocate staff accordingly.
- Assist with emergency scheduling and resolve related issues.
- Serve as a liaison between the clinic, Patient Access, and patients, understanding basic business needs.
- Assist with departmental reporting, including delinquency, show rate, and waitlist reports.
Qualifications
EDUCATION:
- Associate’s degree required; additional experience may substitute for education at the discretion of the Manager.
- Bachelor’s degree in human services or healthcare administration preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
- At least 5 years of experience in registration, scheduling, and patient service systems in a clinical setting.
- Preferably, 4 years of experience in coordinating patient systems.

Minimum pay range: USD $50,148.80/year. Maximum pay range: USD $85,998.22/year.
