Job summary

Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa seeks a Supervisor, Cage Operations to oversee cashiering and cage processes on site. The role ensures accurate banking, regulatory compliance, and excellent guest service in a fast-paced casino environment.

You will supervise staff, coordinate schedules, and maintain secure, hazard-free operations while promoting positive relations with guests and team members. This is a full-time on-site position in Tampa, FL.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required with 1–2 years related experience or equivalent combination.
  • 1 year cage, banking and/or cashiering experience, and 1 year supervisory experience.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide by fractions, whole numbers, and decimals.
  • Ability to calculate interest, commission, and percentages as it applies to job functions.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills; proficient with department specific computer programs.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise cashiering functions as described in job description.
  • Manage cage inventory including Chip Bank, Main Bank, Marker Bank, Vault, Kiosk, Jackpot, and Poker Cage.
  • Address customer concerns/complaints within jurisdiction.
  • Ensure regulatory requirements are followed.
  • Interview, hire, train, schedule, appraise and supervise all assigned personnel.
  • Promote positive public and employee relations.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required to become proficient with department specific computer programs* Must also have strong communication and interpersonal skills**Work Environment:*** Duties and responsibilities are typically performed in the back of house of the casino, which can be fast-paced with excessive noise. Also, there may be times where you will need to be on the Casino Floor or pass through this area. On the Casino Floor, you may be exposed to casino-related environmental factors including, but not limited to, second hand smoke and excessive noise.* While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move a minimum of 40 pounds.
