Willy Street Co-op in Middleton, WI is seeking a Supervisor/Buyer for the Grocery department. This full-time role combines procurement, inventory control, and display coordination to meet quality standards and customer expectations.

The position is a morning shift with hourly wages. You will lead daily department operations, train staff, oversee receiving, pricing, invoicing, and work with other departments to ensure neat displays and top-notch service.

• Previous experience as a clerk in one or more grocery store departments.
• Outstanding customer service skills and a positive attitude.
• Regular, predictable attendance and reliability.
• Effective communication skills in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily department operations including stocking, facing, ordering, merchandising and inventory.

We're a group of employees who care about not only what we do but how we do it.**About the Role:** As a Supervisor/Buyer, you will be responsible for procuring, controlling, and managing product inventory for your department according to established policies. You will ensure that the product received meets the Co-ops standards for quality and coordinate how it is displayed in order to draw in customers. The Supervisor/Buyer acts as the go-to person for department needs in the absence of a manager.
