Cap Metro in Austin, TX, is seeking a Supervisor for Bikeshare Maintenance and Electrification. WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
The Supervisor, Bikeshare Maintenance and Electrification will report to the Director, Bikeshare Services responsible for developing, implementing, and enforcing the maintenance standards for all Bikeshare non‑motorized and e‑bike rolling assets. Develop and implement an ongoing electrification plan for the program with a goal of future carbon neutrality. Oversee all bicycle asset management functions including parts inventory procurements and operations. Direct the Bikeshare mechanic team to ensure all rolling equipment is maintained in like new condition and capable of fulfilling the daily service requirements, including non‑revenue fleets. Lead large and small projects, including the development of requirements, to procure future rolling and electrification assets. This position is responsible for maintaining a safe, inclusive, and fun environment that ensures Bikeshare is an enjoyable place to work for everyone.

Work is generally performed in an office environment in which there is only minimal exposure to unpleasant and/or hazardous working conditions including work outside in all weather conditions. This position works with multiple project timelines and is responsible for managing employees performing work of a complex nature.
Incumbent must have the ability to stand, crouch, walk, bend, stoop, balance, crawl and reach in at least an eight‑hour period, reach vertically for overhead use as well as horizontally. Must be able to use a telephone or headset equipment. Incumbent must be able to lift and move material weighing up to 80 lbs., Must be comfortable and able to climb up and down an 8 ft. ladder, and function in an environment with constant interruptions.
