Working in collaboration with the Director, Ambulatory Operations, the Supervisor, Ambulatory Operations position strategically leads and monitors the daily operations, optimization efforts, transformational projects, clinic design, space allocation, staffing models and development, performance improvement, business plans, patient experience, clinician relations, care coordination, and other responsibilities for assigned small or micro-sized hospital-based or community-based ambulatory sites. Exemplifies behaviors reflecting Service Excellence and supports the Strategic Dimensions by modeling the Core Success Factors as described in the Performance Review.

Responsibilities
  1. Leadership: Manages and directs the administrative activities of assigned small/micro hospital-based or community-based ambulatory site with limited service offerings and 20 or fewer exam rooms.
  2. Business Strategy and Implementation: Creates and contributes to strategic operational plans, identifies opportunities for innovation, and ensures staff understanding, alignment, and commitment.
  3. Human Resources Management: Effectively utilizes existing processes to select, develop, motivate, and retain skilled professionals. Coordinates onboarding for new clinicians.
  4. Compliance: Collaborates with Legal, Risk Management, and Compliance to ensure adherence to regulations and safeguards.
  5. Site Management: Participates in site design and refurbishment, ensuring regulatory compliance, and manages project timelines and resources.
  6. Operational & Financial Management: Develops and maintains policies to improve operational effectiveness, care quality, and efficiency to meet organizational goals.
  7. Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Education & Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's preferred. Minimum of 3 years healthcare supervisory and operations experience, preferably in ambulatory settings. YNHHS employees may substitute 3 years of internal clinical/office experience.

Skills: Excellent communication, proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), knowledge of healthcare industry, multitasking ability, and capability to interact with all management levels and staff.
