Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years in a leadership role with direct reports.
• 3+ years in a production/assembly environment.
• 2+ years in training or coaching.
• Experience in cannabis or regulated industries preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee creation of batches and processing operations to ensure quality and consistency.

Salary: $65,000 yearly

Base Hours: Monday - Friday: 4pm - 1am (subject to change based on daily needs)

Job Description:

Supervisors are responsible for overseeing the daily operations and performance of the processing team, ensuring efficiency, product quality, and compliance with all company and regulatory standards. This role involves supervising a team, managing batch production schedules, troubleshooting process issues, while providing training and guidance to ensure consistent and accurate output. Supervisors play a key role in tracking performance, monitoring inventory to waste ratios, and reporting on overall production efficiency. This position works closely with the Manager, ensuring all safety, quality, and production goals are achieved while maintaining adherence to company policies and state regulatory standards.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations, including personnel, workflows, and production goals.
• Supervise the formulation of cannabis flower and concentrate mixes according to company SOPs and proprietary methods.
• Oversee the creation of Kief batches and other processing operations to ensure consistency and quality.
• Coach, train, and hold employees accountable for meeting production quotas, quality standards, and company policies.
• Train new hires within the assigned processing area on SOPs, safety procedures, and proprietary methods.
• Track and report team and equipment efficiency, output, and underperformance to the Manager.
• Maintain accurate electronic and paper logs for inventory tracking, production reporting, and product movement.
• Input daily production data and control the flow of production through processing pods.
• Ensure production areas are cleaned and maintained to prevent cross-contamination and support health and regulatory compliance.
• Implement controls to prevent the mixing of batches or batch weights.
• Perform and oversee in-process and post-process quality assurance testing and visual inspections.
• Ensure accurate product tracking, product security, and product movement procedures.
• Monitor processing supplies and inventory, coordinating with the Material Coordinator team to maintain adequate stock levels.
• Ensure all team members follow PPE, uniform, GMP, sanitation, safety, and break schedule requirements.
• Communicate closely with the Manager regarding goals, performance, quality, equipment, materials, and staffing.
• Report policy violations and other production concerns to the Manager.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, METRC, and other inventory and tracking systems.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations for accurate batch production.
• Ability to lead a team of up to 20 employees.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with all levels of management.
• Ability to de-escalate situations quickly and effectively.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in batch production, product tracking, and compliance documentation.

Required Experience:

• 3+ years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role with direct reports.
• 3+ years working in an assembly or production environment
• 2+ years of experience in training or coaching

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in the cannabis, food manufacturing, pharmaceutical, or other regulated production industries.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be capable of standing or sitting for long periods
• Must be able to lift 40 lbs

• Must be 21+
