Gonzalez Asphalt in Phoenix, AZ, is hiring a Paving Supervisor in the Construction Department to lead paving projects from start to finish, directing crews and ensuring safety, quality and production. • Experience with customer specifications and coordinating with outside agencies.
• Ability to manage projects end-to-end and read construction prints.

Full Time Phoenix, AZ, US

Salary Range: $40.00 To $46.00 Annually

Gonzalez Asphalt invites you to consider a rewarding opportunity within our Phoenix AZ office as a Paving Supervisor within the Construction Department working to accomplish company goals.

Responsibilities:

• Effectively run a single or multiple paving project site locations with little or no assistance from start to finish
• Responsible to provide direction of project tasks and hold all team members accountable for safety, quality and production

Qualifications:

• Must be 21 years old, have a valid driver license with clean driving record & health card
• 5+ years or more previous industry experience in asphalt paving or heavy civil construction
• Be available to work overtime and emergencies 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
• Must be able to effectively communicate with crew, inspectors and customer representatives on site
• Experience working with customer specifications, outside agencies, utility companies,
• Ability to communicate effectively and handle projects top to bottom,
• Work effectively in a team-oriented environment,
• Perform associated documentation (time cards, daily production reports, etc.)
• Read construction prints, permits and complete redline as-built's

Preferred candidates will have:

• OSHA 10Hr., Confined Space Training, Competent Person Training, First Aid / CPR
• Bi-lingual
• Asphalt paving, milling, grading and/or compaction equipment experience
