About the Role

Supervising Senior – CX, a Connor Group Company

We hire experienced professionals to lead client engagements, solve complex challenges, and foster strong, enduring relationships.

Responsibilities
  • Lead interim accounting functions, including adoption and implementation of new accounting standards.
  • Act as primary point of contact between clients and external auditors, facilitating communication and resolving inquiries.
  • Provide advanced technical expertise to enhance quality and accuracy of financial reporting.
  • Guide transformation and enhancement of accounting and finance operations, introducing process efficiencies and leveraging new technologies.
  • Build and mentor junior team members, fostering skill development and leading training initiatives.
  • Partner with clients throughout the M&A lifecycle, providing due diligence, valuation, and post-transaction integration support.
  • Identify financial risks and opportunities, delivering insights that empower clients to achieve successful outcomes during transitions.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting (required); Master’s degree preferred.
  • CPA or equivalent certification highly valued.
  • 3+ years of experience in public accounting (Big Four or Next Ten) or a mix of public and industry experience.
  • Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal, including team collaboration and client‑facing discussions.
  • Proven ability to identify challenges, implement solutions, and deliver with precision.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, balancing multiple priorities.
  • Self‑directed ownership of deliverables with minimal supervision, proactive communication of status updates, and anticipation of team and client needs.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Technology proficiency with ERP systems, especially NetSuite; familiarity with FloQast, Blackline, Workiva, and Carta is a bonus.
