Buffalo State College is seeking a Cloud Architect Analyst Team Lead in Buffalo, NY to design end-to-end cloud solutions and lead migration initiatives across public cloud and on-prem environments.
You will partner with cross-functional teams, establish cloud governance, and provide system administration across Linux, Windows, and virtualization platforms while mentoring staff and aligning with business goals.

This position is for a system analyst with a strong focus on cloud architecture design, implementation, administration, and integration across public cloud and on‑premises environments. The role partners with cross‑functional teams to drive cloud adoption, optimize infrastructure, and align solutions with business goals. Responsibilities include designing end‑to‑end cloud solutions, leading cloud migration initiatives, and establishing cloud governance, security, compliance, and Cloud Center of Excellence practices. The position also provides system administration and technical support across Linux, Windows, network, and hypervisor platforms for member campuses. Additionally, the role offers technical leadership, mentorship, and training while supporting senior management in system planning and standards development. Team Lead supervisory duties and support of senior management in system planning and decision‑making are also required.
The location for this position is in Buffalo, NY. An office location at a New York State or SUNY Institution may be possible.
