Richesin Engineering, LLC is expanding into electrical contracting and seeks a Licensed Supervising Electrician to lead our Madras, Oregon headquarters. You will be the licensed authority on all electrical jobs, ensuring code compliance, safety, and permit sign-off, while collaborating with project managers and field crews.

This is a ground-floor opportunity to build the electrical division of a fast-growing engineering company, with potential to shape how we operate and scale as we bring

Qualifications

• Hold and maintain an active Oregon Supervising Electrician license.
• 5+ years of electrical field experience.
• Experience with telecom, low voltage, or structured cabling is a plus.
• Ability to read blueprints, specs, and one-line diagrams.
• Comfortable managing permits and dealing with inspectors.

Responsibilities

• Hold and maintain an active Oregon Supervising Electrician license on behalf of Richesin Engineering.
• Oversee and sign off on all electrical work on company projects.
• Ensure all work meets Oregon electrical code and safety standards.
• Coordinate with project managers on scope, inspections, and sign-off.
• Perform/supervise telecom and low voltage installations (structured cabling, fiber, cabinets).
• Pull permits, interface with inspectors, manage inspection process.
• Assist with estimating and bidding electrical portions of projects.
• Mentor and direct field technicians as workload grows.

The Role

Richesin Engineering is expanding into electrical contracting, and we're looking for a Licensed Supervising Electrician to lead that effort out of our Madras, Oregon headquarters. The work is primarily telecom and low voltage - structured cabling, fiber infrastructure, wireless equipment rooms, antenna systems, generator and UPS connections - with general electrical work as opportunities come in.

This is a ground-floor opportunity to build the electrical division of a fast-growing engineering company. You'll be the licensed authority on our electrical jobs, ensuring code compliance, safety, and permit sign-off on every project. You'll work directly with our project managers and field crews, and you'll have a direct line to ownership.

What You'll Do

• Hold and maintain an active Oregon Supervising Electrician license on behalf of Richesin Engineering
• Oversee and sign off on all electrical work performed on company projects
• Ensure all work meets Oregon electrical code, permit requirements, and safety standards
• Coordinate with project managers on scope, scheduling, inspections, and final sign-off
• Perform and/or supervise installation on telecom and low voltage projects - structured cabling, fiber terminations, equipment rooms, antenna systems, generator and UPS connections
• Pull permits, interface with inspectors, and manage the inspection process from start to finish
• Assist with estimating and bidding the electrical portions of projects
• Mentor and direct field technicians as the electrical workload grows

What We're Looking For

• Active Oregon Supervising Electrician License - required, no exceptions
• 5+ years of electrical field experience
• Experience with telecom, low voltage, or structured cabling work a strong plus
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specs, and one-line diagrams
• Comfortable managing permits and dealing with inspectors
• Valid Oregon driver's license and clean driving record
• Strong communicator who can work across both field and office environments

Nice to Have

• Experience on tribal, federal, or municipal projects
• Familiarity with structured cabling (Cat6/fiber), wireless infrastructure, or generator systems
• BICSI, RCDD, or similar certifications
• Estimating experience
