The State of California is looking for a Supervising Case Records Technician (SCRT) in California, Missouri. This role involves supervising technicians and clerical staff within the records office, managing attendance and performance evaluations, and ensuring all staff receive necessary training.
The SCRT is responsible for daily office functions, problem resolution, and planning for coverage during absences. This position requires effective leadership and organizational skills.
Under the direct supervision of the Correctional Case Records Supervisor, the Supervising Case Records Technician (SCRT) is the working level supervisor. The SCRT supervises Case Records Technicians and, on occasion, other clerical staff. The SCRT is responsible for the daily clerical functions of the records office, attendance of subordinates, performance evaluations, and problem resolution. The SCRT plans for and implements necessary cross‑coverage during vacancies and absences; schedules and ensures staff attend annual In‑Service Training and personally attends mandatory annual classes.
