San Bernardino County is recruiting for Supervising Automated Systems Analysts I to manage networked information systems, functions, and services. Duties include evaluation, modification, implementation and oversight of complex networked computer systems and the distribution of PCs and other devices. Additionally, incumbents may supervise a technical staff, manage and maintain endpoint systems such as desktops, printers and various user based devices. This position will assist the IT service desk manager in maintaining service level agreements, asset inventory, and Help Desk tracking and support; determine departmental information technology (IT) needs, such as hardware requirements and capabilities; and recommend resolutions for hardware, software and network conflicts.

Thirty (30) semester (45 quarter) units of completed, college level coursework from accredited college or university in Information Technology OR Certification as Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA), CompTIA A+, or Cisco Certified Network Administrator (CCNA) certification.
Education Substitution: One (1) year of additional qualifying experience may substitute for the required education or certificate.
Qualifying degrees and coursework must be conferred by institutions accredited by an accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. Degrees earned outside the United States must be accompanied by an evaluation from a recognized credential evaluation service verifying U.S. equivalency.
