Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician (Finance)

Job Description

Walmart is expanding our workforce across local retail stores and is actively recruiting for a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician. If you have relevant experience, join our dynamic team in a fast-paced and welcoming environment!

Your role will support and oversee repairs within the Walmart facilities' Refrigeration HVAC equipment team, utilizing commercial HVAC and Refrigeration skills, hand tools, digital tools, power tools, and other equipment.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 2 years of experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance
• Large-Scale Rack Refrigeration Experience
• Type I/Type II or Universal EPA Certification for Refrigerant handling
• Valid state-issued driver's license with a clean driving record
• 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent

Job Duties:

• Maintain and repair Walmart's Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets
• Use the work order management system to support stores and document activities
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities and equipment to diagnose issues
• Complete safety training for equipment and tools
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations, following Walmart's safety and environmental policies
• Lift up to 75 pounds, work at heights, and use ladders as needed

Compensation:

• Salary range: $56,160 - $106,080
• Sign-on bonus of $2000 (for select locations)
• Compensation depends on skills, experience, and qualifications
• Eligible for bonus incentives
