Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician (Finance)

Job Description

Are you seeking an exciting career opportunity within a dynamic team? Walmart is expanding and actively recruiting a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician. If you have relevant experience, we invite you to bring your skills to our fast-paced, welcoming environment.

As a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician at our retail store, your role will involve supporting and overseeing repairs of refrigeration and HVAC equipment by utilizing your technical skills, hand tools, digital tools, power tools, and other equipment.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 2 years of experience in commercial refrigeration and HVAC maintenance
• Experience with large-scale rack refrigeration
• EPA Type I/Type II or Universal Certification for refrigerant handling
• Valid driver's license with a clean record and ability to pass MVR
• At least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent

Job Duties:

• Maintain and repair refrigeration and HVAC equipment using appropriate skills and tools
• Use work order management system to support store repairs and document activities
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls
• Inspect and test facilities and equipment to diagnose issues
• Complete safety training for equipment and tool operation
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations according to Walmart safety policies
• Lift up to 75 pounds, work at heights, and use ladders as needed

Compensation:

• Salary range: $56,160 - $106,080
• Sign-on bonus of $2000 (select locations)
• Compensation depends on experience, skills, and qualifications
• Eligible for bonus incentives
