Job Description

As a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician, your role will involve supporting and overseeing repairs of refrigeration and HVAC equipment within Walmart facilities, utilizing commercial HVAC and refrigeration skills, hand tools, digital tools, power tools, and other equipment.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 2 years of experience in commercial refrigeration and HVAC maintenance
• Large-scale rack refrigeration experience
• Type I/Type II or Universal EPA Certification for refrigerant handling
• Valid state driver's license with a clean record and ability to pass MVR
• 18 years or older with a high school diploma or equivalent

Job Duties:

• Maintain and repair refrigeration and HVAC equipment using appropriate skills and tools
• Use work order management system to receive and document repair activities
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities and equipment to diagnose issues
• Complete safety training for equipment and tool operation
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations, following Walmart safety and environmental policies
• Lift up to 75 pounds, work at heights, and use ladders as needed

Compensation:

• Salary range: $56,160 - $106,080
• $2000 sign-on bonus (select locations)
• Compensation based on skills, experience, and other factors
• Eligible for bonus incentives
