Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician (Finance)

Job Description

Are you looking for an exciting career opportunity within a dynamic team? Walmart is expanding and actively recruiting a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician. If you have relevant experience, we invite you to bring your skills to our fast-paced, welcoming environment.

Your role will involve supporting and overseeing repairs of refrigeration and HVAC equipment within Walmart facilities, utilizing your commercial HVAC and Refrigeration skills, along with hand tools, digital tools, power tools, and other equipment.

Minimum Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance
• Large-Scale Rack Refrigeration Experience
• EPA Type I/Type II or Universal Certification for Refrigerant handling
• Valid state-issued driver's license with a clean record and ability to pass MVR
• 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent

Job Duties:

• Maintain and repair Walmart's Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using appropriate skills and tools.
• Use the work order management system to receive and document repair jobs.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities and equipment to diagnose issues.
• Complete all required safety and operational training.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations following Walmart safety and environmental policies.
• Lift up to 75 pounds, work at heights, and use ladders as needed.

Compensation:

• Salary range: $56,160 - $106,080
• Sign-on bonus of $2000 (select locations)
• Compensation varies based on experience, skills, and qualifications
• Eligible for bonus incentives
