Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician (Finance)

Job Description

Walmart is expanding its workforce across local retail stores and is actively recruiting a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician. If you have relevant experience, join our dynamic team in a fast-paced and welcoming environment!

As a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician, you will support and oversee repairs within Walmart facilities' refrigeration and HVAC equipment, utilizing commercial HVAC and refrigeration skills, hand tools, digital tools, power tools, and other equipment.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 2 years of experience in commercial refrigeration and HVAC maintenance
• Large-scale rack refrigeration experience
• EPA Type I/Type II or Universal Certification for refrigerant handling
• Valid state-issued driver's license with a clean record and ability to pass MVR
• 18 years or older with a high school diploma or equivalent

Job Duties:

• Maintain and repair refrigeration and HVAC equipment using appropriate skills and tools
• Use the work order management system to receive and document repairs
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls
• Inspect, operate, and test facilities and equipment to diagnose issues
• Complete required safety training for equipment operation
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations according to Walmart safety policies
• Lift up to 75 pounds, work at heights, and climb ladders as needed

Compensation:

• Salary range: $56,160 - $106,080
• Potential $2000 sign-on bonus (select locations)
• Compensation based on experience, skills, and other factors
• Eligible for bonus incentives
