Job summary

Walmart is hiring a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician to maintain and repair Refrigeration HVAC systems at our local retail store. The role uses commercial HVAC skills and various tools to complete jobs efficiently.

Responsibilities include handling work orders, emergency maintenance responses, and inspections to diagnose issues while adhering to safety and environmental guidelines. EPA certification and a valid license are required.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
• Large-Scale Rack Refrigeration experience required.
• EPA Type I/Type II or Universal Refrigerant Certification required.
• Valid state-issued driver's license with clean MVR.
• 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility refrigeration HVAC equipment using hand, digital, and power tools.
• Use work orders to receive and document repair activities for Stores and associates.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect facilities and equipment to diagnose issues.
• Complete all required training to operate equipment safely.
• Comply with OSHA and EPA regulations per Walmart safety policies.
