Responsibilities

• Represent the Commonwealth at all stages of criminal prosecutions, including indictments and trials.
• Review materials from District Court for indictment consideration and conduct grand jury investigations.
• Handle arraignments and related motions across courts (District, Superior, Juvenile as appropriate).
• Oversee pre-trial hearings, conferences, and diverse motions (evidentiary and non-evidentiary).
• Conduct trials, pleas, sentencing, and post-conviction matters; on-call as needed.
• Collaborate with law enforcement, court personnel, and community partners to ensure ethical, effective prosecution.
• Review charging decisions and prepare discovery; provide to defense counsel.
• Stay current on statutes and case law; prepare memoranda; ensure compliance with Victims’ Rights.
