Office of the Superintendent is seeking a Superintendent of Schools to provide student-centered leadership aimed at sustaining improvement and academic achievement. The role focuses on advancing instructional excellence and strategic leadership across the district.

To provide student-centered leadership building on sustained improvement and academic achievement
by advancing instructional excellence, strategic leadership, continuous improvement, and innovation;
develop the instructional and organizational leadership capacity of principals, district administrators,
teachers, and staff; leverage robust data systems and structured problem solving to identify needs,
monitor implementation, and accelerate improvement; align organizational systems, resources, and
community partnerships; ensure effective fiscal stewardship and operational excellence; and foster
collaborative engagement to achieve exceptional outcomes for every student.
(1) Master's Degree or higher with certification in Administration and Supervision
and/or Educational Leadership. Doctoral Degree preferred.
(2) Florida Educational Leadership certification or equivalent certification eligible for reciprocity in
Florida
(3) Successful experience in teaching and school administration totaling a minimum of ten (10) years
or a minimum of 5 years of district leadership experience with broad responsibility for
instructional and/or organizational operations in a public school district serving 7,500 students or
more in the state of Florida preferred.
(4) Satisfactory criminal history records check and drug screening.
Contract - Negotiated. Two hundred fifty days worked per year (12 months). FLSA Exempt.
