Job summary
Okland Construction in Phoenix seeks a seasoned Superintendent (Night Shift) to lead large vertical construction projects from $30M to $100M. You will manage field operations, coordinate trade partners, and drive safe, on-time delivery while maintaining quality and client satisfaction.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, or 10+ years of commercial construction experience.
- Experience leading commercial vertical construction projects $30M-$100M.
- Advanced knowledge of construction means and methods, building systems, safety regulations, and applicable building codes.
- Experience managing project schedules, logistics, phasing, and risk mitigation.
- Ability to read construction drawings, specifications, CPM schedules and contract documents.
- Strong understanding of project controls, cost management, change orders, and subcontractor coordination.
- Excellent leadership, communication, conflict resolution, and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and construction management software.
- Ability to lead teams in fast-paced, high-profile project environments with accountability.
Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day field operations, overseeing craft personnel, subcontractors, vendors, and site logistics.
- Mentor field teams, foster a positive jobsite culture, and ensure safety and quality.
- Serve as the primary field leader and representative of Okland with owners, architects, consultants, and trade partners.
- Develop and maintain master schedules and rolling look-ahead schedules to drive progress.
- Coordinate trade sequencing, site logistics, material deliveries, and manpower planning.
- Proactively identify schedule risks and coordinate recovery strategies with teams.
- Champion safety culture through planning, inspections, and accountability.
- Ensure documentation, RFIs, drawings, field reports, and QC processes are up to date.
- Oversee inspections, commissioning, occupancy requirements, and certificates.
- Partner with project managers on cost control, change management, and reporting.
- Monitor subcontractor performance and complete punch list and warranty items.
- Lead project closeout, documentation, turnover, and final completion milestones.

We're looking for a Superintendent with experience leading large-scale vertical construction projects ranging from $30M to $100M while maintaining safety, schedule, quality, and client satisfaction. In this role, you'll lead field operations, coordinate trade partners, manage project logistics, and drive execution of critical milestones. Success requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and the ability to build trust with owners, subcontractors, and project teams. - Lead day-to-day field operations, overseeing craft personnel, subcontractors, vendors, and site logistics to ensure safe and efficient project execution.
- Mentor field teams, foster a positive jobsite culture, and hold team members accountable for performance, safety, and quality standards.
- Serve as the primary field leader and representative of Okland with owners, architects, consultants, and trade partners.
- Develop and maintain master schedules and rolling three-week look-ahead schedules to drive project progress.
- Coordinate trade sequencing, site logistics, material deliveries, and manpower planning to achieve key milestones.
- Proactively identify schedule risks and collaborate with project teams on recovery strategies and solutions.
- Champion Okland's safety culture through active engagement, planning, inspections, and accountability.
- Ensure project documentation, RFIs, drawings, field reports, and quality control processes are maintained and up to date.
