We are currently seeking a dynamic, experienced, and detail-oriented Superintendent for Multifamily Projects. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a solid background in concrete construction to lead and manage large-scale multifamily construction projects. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget, while ensuring the highest levels of safety and quality.
Responsibilities
- 1. Oversee all stages of project life cycle, managing multifamily construction projects from pre-construction through to project closeout.
- 2. Ensure all work is performed in accordance with project specifications, budget, and schedule.
- 3. Coordinate and supervise the activities of project teams, including subcontractors, engineers, architects, and field staff.
- 4. Implement and maintain high standards of safety, quality, and productivity on the job site.
- 5. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure conformance to plans and specifications.
- 6. Facilitate effective communication and coordination between all parties involved in the project, including clients, subcontractors, and internal team members.
- 7. Resolve any issues or disputes that may arise during the construction process in a timely and effective manner.
- 8. Prepare and submit regular project reports, updates, and forecasts to senior management.
- 9. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and laws related to construction projects.
Qualifications
- 1. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in the construction industry, with specific experience in multifamily construction.
- 2. Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering multifamily construction projects.
- 3. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
- 4. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- 5. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- 6. Ability to read and interpret complex construction plans and specifications.
- 7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- 8. Proficient in the use of construction management software and other relevant IT tools.
- 9. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- 10. Certifications such as Certified Construction Manager (CCM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) are a plus.
