Job summary

Clune Construction is seeking a Senior Superintendent for mission-critical interiors projects in San Francisco. You will lead field operations, supervise trade partners, and drive schedule performance while upholding safety and QA/QC standards.

Required: 6–15 years in commercial interior/healthcare/mission-critical projects and a BS in Construction Management, Architecture or Engineering is preferred. Resume submission is required and role is on-site in the SF area.

Qualifications

• 6-15 years of experience managing commercial interior, healthcare and/or mission-critical projects.
• Bachelor of Science in Construction Management, Architecture or Engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead field operations by directing daily construction activities, coordinating trade partners, managing manpower, and driving schedule performance while maintaining clear communication across the project team.
• Champion safety, quality, and operational excellence by promoting safety culture, leading safety meetings, enforcing OSHA standards, and driving QA/QC efforts.
• Coordinate trade partners and field execution by identifying and resolving constraints, sequencing work, monitoring productivity, and ensuring materials, equipment, and labor are available.
• Manage project schedules and field progress by maintaining short-term schedules, monitoring milestones, documenting progress, identifying delays, and implementing recovery plans.
• Build and maintain client and project team relationships by communicating status, coordinating with owners, architects, engineers, inspectors, and trade partners.
• Lead project closeout and turnover by managing punch lists, inspections, commissioning, and turnover documentation.
