Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day field operations for luxury projects from groundbreaking to turnover.
• Manage and coordinate subcontractors, trades, vendors, deliveries, inspections, and site activities.
• Maintain project schedules and construction sequencing to keep projects on track.
• Monitor work for quality, craftsmanship, accuracy and plan/spec compliance.
• Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, scopes, and project documentation.
• Conduct regular site inspections and maintain a clean, safe jobsite.
• Coordinate closely with Project Managers, architects, designers, engineers, and subcontractors.
• Identify and resolve field issues to minimize delays and cost impacts.
• Oversee punch lists, inspections, closeout, and final turnover.
• Ensure every completed home meets luxury craftsmanship standards.

About the Job:

We’re looking for an experienced Superintendent to oversee the on-site construction of high-end luxury custom homes throughout the Los Angeles area. This role is ideal for a hands-on residential construction professional who excels at managing subcontractors, schedules, quality, safety, and day-to-day field operations while delivering exceptional custom homes.

What You’ll Do:

• Oversee day-to-day field operations for luxury custom home projects from groundbreaking through final completion and turnover.
• Manage and coordinate subcontractors, trades, vendors, deliveries, inspections, and site activities.
• Maintain project schedules and construction sequencing to ensure projects remain on track.
• Monitor all work for quality, craftsmanship, accuracy, and compliance with plans and specifications.
• Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and project documentation.

• Strong understanding of residential construction sequencing, building methods, and quality standards.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and architectural drawings.

• Ability to effectively coordinate with Project Managers, architects, designers, clients, and trades.
