Job summary

Flowtec Construction in Chicago is seeking an experienced Project Superintendent to lead day-to-day field operations for commercial and industrial projects from kickoff to closeout. You will coordinate subs and vendors, maintain schedules, uphold safety, and ensure quality while working within a strong backlog on local Chicago sites, with no overnight travel required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent with a commercial general contractor.
• Experience delivering commercial, industrial, manufacturing, warehouse or ground-up construction projects.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to coordinate multiple subcontractors and trades.
• Experience managing project schedules, site logistics and day-to-day field operations.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and resolve field issues.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with Project Managers, subcontractors and clients.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.

Flowtec Construction is partnering with an established general contractor in Chicago seeking an experienced Project Superintendent to support its growing portfolio of commercial and industrial construction projects.

With a strong backlog, repeat clients and projects ranging from $10M to $50M, this is an opportunity to join a stable business delivering a varied portfolio of work across the Chicago market. All projects are local to Chicago, meaning you can focus on delivering great projects without spending your weeks travelling or staying away from home.

You’ll oversee commercial and industrial projects ranging from $10M to $50M, including:

• Commercial construction
• Manufacturing facilities
• Warehousing and distribution
• Ground-up construction

Your role

• Manage all day-to-day field operations from project start through completion and closeout.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors and on-site personnel to maintain project schedules.
