Job summary

DeAngelis Diamond, headquartered in Naples, Florida, seeks an experienced Superintendent to lead healthcare, commercial, and multi-family projects. The role requires guiding teams, coordinating subcontractors, and maintaining safety and quality standards on-site in the Naples market.

With 2+ years in a superintendent role, you will apply ABSSA-like SOPs, manage schedules, and interact with owners and design professionals.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a Superintendent, preferably in our core market project types.
• Healthcare construction experience is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite, Procore, Box, DocuSign, Textura, BlueBeam, PlanGrid and scheduling programs.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety and OSHA requirements.
• Strong communication and team leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, plan, organize, and control resources and logistics for project execution.
• Lead subcontractors to meet quality, schedule, budget, safety, and client experience goals.
• Coordinate inspections and ensure certificates of completion and final completion.
• Effectively communicate with owner and design professionals.
• Apply DeAngelis Diamond SOPs to daily work and processes.
• Create and manage project schedules, RFIs, submittals, and shop drawings.
• Prepare daily and weekly project records and reports.
• Maintain workplace safety and OSHA-compliant job sites.
• Participate in RFP responses and project presentations.

What You'll Be Doing

• Supervise, plan, organize, and control all resources and logistics (people and materials) for the successful execution of a project.
• Lead subcontractors in the construction of projects ensuring project quality, schedule, budget, safety, and exceptional client experience goals are met.
• Timely schedule and coordinate all inspections required by permits and governmental authorities through the successful receipt of the certificates of completion, punch completion, and final completion certificates.
• Effectively communicate with owner and design professionals.
• Learning and applying DeAngelis Diamond's SOP's, standard operating procedures, to your work.
• Create and manage schedules, prepare RFI's, review and process Submittals and Shop Drawings.
• Prepare, daily and weekly project records, and reports.
• Ensure workplace safety and compliance with Company Safety Policies, and OSHA job-site requirements.
• Be a member of the team involved in creating a winning strategy for Request for Proposal responses (RFP’s) and the formal presentation for a project.

• 2+ years of experience as a Superintendent, preferably within our core market project types or have grown through DD's career path leading to this role.
• Proven track record of successfully leading projects up to $10 million.
• Healthcare experience is strongly preferred.
• Strong personal integrity and has the highest ethical standards.
• Able to function in a collaborative and friendly environment.
