Job summary

DeAngelis Diamond is seeking a Healthcare Superintendent for our Orlando team. With 3+ years of field supervision in healthcare construction, you will oversee resources, lead subcontractors, and ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence on complex projects.

You will coordinate inspections, manage RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, and daily/weekly records, while communicating with owners and design professionals. Proficiency in Procore and scheduling tools is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Superintendent in healthcare construction.
• Ability to lead subcontractors and ensure safety, quality, and schedule.
• Strong communication with owners and design professionals.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, plan, organize, and control resources and logistics for project execution.
• Lead subcontractors to meet quality, schedule, budget, and safety goals.
• Coordinate inspections and ensure permits, certificates, and final completion.
• Communicate with owner and design professionals effectively.
• Apply DeAngelis Diamond SOPs in daily work.
• Create and manage schedules; review RFIs, submittals, and shop drawings.
• Prepare daily/weekly project records and reports.
• Maintain workplace safety per policies and OSHA requirements.
• Assist in RFP responses and project presentations.

We are searching for an outstanding Healthcare Superintendent to join our team. If you have 3 or more years of experience, a passion for construction, and an insane need and desire to be part of building great projects, then please read on!

What you'll be doing:

• Supervise, plan, organize, and control all resources and logistics (people and materials) for the successful execution of a project.

• Lead subcontractors in the construction of projects ensuring project quality, schedule, budget, safety, and exceptional client experience goals are met.

• Timely schedule and coordinate all inspections required by permits and governmental authorities through successful receipt of the certificates of completion, punch completion, and final completion certificates.

• Effectively communicate with owner and design professionals.

• Learning and applying DeAngelis Diamond SOP's, standard operating procedures, to your work.

• Create and manage schedules, prepare RFI's, review and process Submittals and Shop Drawings.

• Prepare, daily and weekly project records, and reports.

• Ensure workplace safety and compliance with Company Safety Policies, and OSHA job-site requirements.

• Be a member of the team involved in creating a winning strategy for Request for Proposal responses (RFP’s) and the formal presentation for a project.

• Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite, Procore, Box, DocuSign, Textura, BlueBeam, PlanGrid, and Scheduling programs.

• Passionate about learning and applying new technologies, concepts, and innovative solutions.

• 3+ years of experience as a Superintendent, preferably within our core market project types, or have grown through DD's career path leading to this role.

• Proven track record of leading successful projects exceeding $10 million.

• Healthcare Construction and AHCAexperience or equivalent are strongly preferred.

• Strong personal integrity and has the highest ethical standards.

• Able to function in a collaborative and friendly environment.
