GPC is a private construction firm that specializes in building projects. We are looking for responsible individuals to join our team and train in all aspects of construction work!

GPC is seeking a Superintendent in Training. This person will monitor construction projects for their entire lifecycle.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. On-Site Project Administration
2. Document review
3. Daily inspection/logging
4. Safety inspection
5. Inspection coordination
6. Schedule management/coordination
7. Cost management
8. Personnel Management - Supervise staff and provide constructive feedback.
9. Technical management/participation with field personnel in self performed trade work, demolition, concrete, carpentry, etc.
10. Subcontractor coordination
11. Quality control
12. Coordination with project management team
13. Provide progress and project updates.
14. Ensure the job site remains safe, clean, and orderly.

REQUIREMENTS

1. Previous experience in construction site management, principals, and practice and/or applicable education.
2. Basic knowledge of quality and safety guidelines for construction job sites.
3. Good understanding of construction operations and processes. Basic proficiency in reading/reviewing construction plans/specs.
4. Proficient in MS Office, Excel.
5. Degree in Engineering, construction management or similar field or applicable experience is a plus.
6. Good Driving record & Valid Driver's License.
