Jobot is seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee ground-up construction projects across PA. You will lead on-site teams, coordinate subcontractors, review blueprints, and ensure safety and quality from initiation to completion.

This role offers a competitive compensation package, bonus potential, 401(k) with match, full benefits, and generous PTO. A degree in construction management or engineering is preferred, with at least five years of relevant experience.

Job Details

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all on-site construction activities for ground-up construction projects from initiation to completion.
• Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors, ensuring they understand their roles and responsibilities.
• Review and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications to ensure project is built accordingly.
• Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
• Plan and schedule work sequences to meet project timelines and milestones.
• Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by adhering to and enforcing safety codes and regulations.
• Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to provide updates on project progress.
• Resolve any site issues or emergencies promptly to minimize delays.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure that work is proceeding on schedule and to standards.
• Prepare and submit project reports, and document any changes in design and work schedules.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent or in a similar role in the construction industry.
• Proven track record in ground-up construction projects.
• Extensive knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and OSHA guidelines.
• Strong ability to read and understand blueprints, plans, and specifications.
• Excellent leadership and project management skills.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
• Ability to work under pressure and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of construction software is a plus.
• A degree in construction management, engineering, or related field is preferred.
