Superintendent - Federal Construction

Position Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Superintendent to lead field operations on federal renovation projects near the Columbus and Dayton areas. The Superintendent will be responsible for day-to-day site supervision, ensuring work is performed safely, on schedule, and to contract quality standards. This role requires strong leadership and construction expertise, with the ability to coordinate subcontractors, enforce compliance with federal requirements, and communicate effectively with project stakeholders. Experience on government or federal jobs, renovations, and tenant improvement projects is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily field operations, ensuring work is executed to project plans, specifications, and contract requirements.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, trades, and on-site personnel to maintain schedule and productivity.
• Enforce safety protocols and regulatory compliance, including federal construction and site-specific requirements.
• Monitor quality control and conduct inspections to ensure work meets project and contract standards.

• Maintain accurate and timely project documentation including daily reports, RFIs, submittals, and change order logs.

Qualifications

• Valid drivers license; federal background checks and security clearances may be required depending on project.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., OSHA 30, CSP, or CCM) and trade-specific qualifications are a plus.
