Job summary

Primoris Services Corporation seeks a seasoned field coordination professional in Converse, TX to lead project execution on telecom and construction sites. You will coordinate kickoffs, align scope with City officials and the Customer Construction Coordinators, and act as the primary field liaison among stakeholders to keep projects on schedule.

Job description

  • Coordinate project kickoffs with City officials and Customer Construction Coordinators to ensure alignment on project scope, schedule, and requirements.
  • Serve as the primary field liaison between stakeholders, ensuring clear and consistent communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage and coordinate subcontractors to ensure work is executed efficiently and in accordance with project specifications.
  • Validate subcontractor production daily and weekly to ensure accuracy, quality, and adherence to project timelines.
  • Develop and maintain weekly production forecasts, identifying risks and opportunities to maintain project schedules.
  • Verify all required permits are obtained, current, and properly documented prior to construction activities.
  • Coordinate with the warehouse manager to request and ensure timely delivery of materials required for subcontractor execution.
  • Enforce Primoris jobsite safety requirements, ensuring all crews operate in full compliance with company policies and industry standards.
  • Identify, elevate, and assist in resolving issues or obstacles that may impact project progress or deadlines.
  • Maintain accurate reporting and provide regular updates on production, risks, and overall project status.
  • Provide on-site coordination of fiber optic cabling installation, modification, and splicing work performed by crews.
  • Oversee the physical installation of cabling and supervise the work of field personnel and subcontractors.
  • Survey job sites to determine best installation and construction practices.
  • Coordinate workflow within the unit, act as company liaison, and provide on-the-job training (OJT) to technicians as needed.
  • Train employees working under your direction on construction and installation practices to ensure a safe and productive work environment.
  • Act as liaison between Prince Telecom and the MSO/customer.
  • Train, supervise, discipline, and evaluate field technicians.
  • Ensure and maintain all MSO and company quality control and safety requirements.
  • Identify performance issues and recommend and implement corrective actions.
  • Resolve complaints with property owners in areas where personnel are working.
  • Coordinate scheduling and ensure adequate staffing levels.
  • Identify problem areas in the department and communicate concerns and solutions to the Project Manager.
  • Develop procedures and implement improvements to better organize the team and department.
  • Assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority to lead technicians.
  • Establish, implement, and maintain operating standards and procedures for project reporting and documentation.
  • Perform quality control inspections and correct issues and complaints.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to lift weight up to 75 lbs.
  • Ability to carry and climb a 28' ladder from truck to pole and/or house.
  • Ability to work in all kinds of weather conditions.
