Job summary

Engtal, a well-established family-owned general contractor in the Chicago area, seeks an experienced Superintendent to join its team. You will manage on-site operations, coordinate subcontractors, develop and maintain project schedules, and ensure work meets plans, specs, and company standards from start to closeout.

• Experience as Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent with a GC.
• Proven ability to manage commercial construction projects.

Ideal Background

• Previous experience as a Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent with a general contractor.
• Strong experience managing commercial construction projects.

• Strong understanding of construction layout and field coordination.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
• Strong subcontractor management and scheduling experience.
