Base pay range

$90,000.00/yr - $105,000.00/yr

My client, a mid-sized General Contracting firm near Oakview, MO is looking to add a Superintendent (with commercial project experience). Our client is a reputable, General Contractor in the Greater Kansas City area. Founded 25+ years ago, they specialize in the commercial and multi-family spaces. Due to growth in the pipeline, they are looking to bring on an experienced and dedicated Superintendent (with commercial project experience) to join the team. This individual will be essential to their work/projects and long-term growth of the organization!

Description

• Manage all day-to-day field activities.
• Review blueprints, customer needs and contractor submissions in order to execute appropriate bids.
• Lead the team with appropriate construction project planning and developing site logistics.
• Maintain strong relationships with municipalities for potential future business.
• Schedule on-site inspections as needed along with the jobs site.
• Review all bids for work, as well as supervising the inspection of work.
• Ensure all proper signage is posted on the construction job site, and all safety requirements.
• Work closely with job investors and maintain professional attitude.
• Coordinate and supervise all construction activities.
• Keep daily and weekly construction work logs.
• Ensure good time management and to have timely completion of projects.
• Monitor job subcontractors to ensure safety guidelines are met.

Profile

• Degree in Construction Management/Science (or related field).
• OSHA certified.
• 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent
• Experience working on commercial and/or multi-family projects.
• Experience running $5M+ projects
• Experience leading and scheduling integrated teams.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• True leadership experience.
• Proficient in reviewing and understanding all construction documents including specifications and drawings.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Proficiency in Procore.
