Job summary

gpac is seeking experienced Commercial Construction Superintendents to join our team. You will be responsible for planning, scheduling, leading and supervising all construction activities on the jobsite.

Projects include: Hospitality, Healthcare,Multi-family, Higher Ed, K-12, Retail, Entertainment, and more! The ideal candidate will have 10+ years in the role, a related BS is a plus, and a willingness to work on remote projects as needed.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience as a Construction Superintendent for a GC.
• BS in Construction Management or Civil Engineering is a plus but not required.
• Willingness to be assigned to remote projects as needed.
• Strong leadership and communication qualities.
• Strong integrity and team orientation.
• Works well in a team environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of construction.
• Experience with owners, architects, and subcontractors.
• Understanding of submittals, RFIs, owner meetings, safety and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all construction operations.
• Direct field staff and subcontractors.
• Maintain and manage project schedules and address issues promptly.
• Collaborate with the Project Manager on budgeting and cost control.
• Schedule and oversee inspections.
• Ensure compliance with contracts, plans, and specs.
• Maintain an organized and safe job site.
• Enforce quality assurance and safety protocols.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and suppliers.
